Seeking the following teachers to start in August 2013:
Physical Education and Sports
We are seeking one teacher on the Moshi Campus to be our Sports Coordinator responsible for organising all sports activities on the Moshi Campus for our middle years and diploma students. This teacher will also teach our MYP Physical Education classes and some Life Skills classes in the middle years and diploma.
We are also seeking a Physical Education teacher for our Arusha Campus responsible for all sports for the middle years students and for the MYP teaching of Physical Education. For both positions, previous experience of the MYP would be an advantage, but is not required.
French
On the Moshi Campus we are seeking a full-time French teacher to teach both Diploma and MYP classes in French B. The teacher will be expected to have previously taught French B classes in the IB Diploma or at an equivalent level (eg AP, A level).
On the Arusha Campus we are seeking a full-time French teacher for the MYP classes. For both positions previous IB experience would be a significant advantage.
There is an additional part-time position (about 25%) in Moshi for teaching French to primary and lower middle school classes that might suit an accompanying partner.
Technology
On the Arusha Campus we are seeking a teacher to take all MYP Technology classes in the MYP years and to take general responsibility for the support and development of technology across the campus.
In Moshi we are seeking a similar candidate, but the Moshi position will also include the teaching of IB Diploma Information Technology in a Global Society (ITGS).
For both positions, previous IB experience will be a significant advantage, but is not required.
English as a Second Language
We are seeking an ESL teacher for the Moshi Campus to provide ESL support for individual students in both the primary and middle years programmes. The role will also include advising classroom teachers on how to meet the needs of ESL students in their classes and of managing the campus' ESL programme. Some teaching of MYP English B classes will also be required.
Primary Classroom Teacher
Our Arusha Campus is seeking a classroom teacher for Grades 2/3. Previous PYP experience will be a significant advantage.
Girls Boarding Parent
We will have a vacancy for a girls boarding parent to take care of girls between the ages of 11 and 16. This is remunerated as a part-time position (40%) and there is an expectation that the boarding parent will live in an apartment next to the boarding house. This position may suit an accompanying partner.

It is important to include details of any family members who may accompany you: we are unlikely to offer employment to a spouse unless as part of a teaching couple and local employment opportunities are extremely limited. Current Tanzanian regulations mean that we are only able to consider teachers under fifty five years of age.
The school also uses placement agencies to assist in our search for strong teaching candidates. However we encourage direct applications and will not be liable for agency placement fees when teachers contact us directly through this website.
